Very enjoyable day at the aquarium. Informative talks.A coffee in the cafe over looking the harbour/marina was amazing.
Fantastic day out with great tanks great facilities and brilliant if you can use the year pass which is the same price of admission as if you were non locals which is a shame as I do think they should lower the price for non locals who can't take advantage of this offer or maybe at least give a late entry charge. They also have a lovely soft play with an additional charge but not too expensive especially if you can come back for free throughout the year. Plenty of variety of fish and a lovely layout of the tanks.
Great place for a day out, lots to see, including set times when they feed different species and do talks. Tip - take a snack/packed lunch and sit in front of the curved tank rather than buying expensive food here. As long as you're not rolling out a blanket, nobody seems to mind that you've brought your own food in, especially if you've got little ones.
We love going here as a family. My son is entertained for hours watching all the fish. Ticket entry is a bit steep initially, but once you pay you get a pass for a whole year (except bank holidays). Handy for something to do in wet weather, of which we get a lot down here.
Brilliant family day out. Impressive aquarium. Lots of exciting fish and ocean life to see in a great caring environment. Watching Feeding the fish, all shapes and sizes; some very large up close and the accompanying talk was really fascinating. Very large tanks. These creature are well catered for!
