Popped in at 11:30 for a lunch time snack. Cinnamon roll, brownie and pain au chocolate only choices left. No filled baguettes! Bread and baguettes were available to take away.Service is slow, space is very cramped inside.May be quaint and cute to some, but needs to be aimed at current customer needs not those about to board the Mayflower.Quality of bake is very good, my wife had a cinnamon roll and a baguette to use for lunch. I left with nothing and will probably not waste my time and parking money for the experience again. If you are passing and they have anything you fancy in the window you will not be disappointed; however don't plan to get food there, grab a Tesco meal deal first if you are heading to the Barbican, and use Jacka as a possible historical treat or not, as suits them on the day!
Absolutely the best sourdough bread I've tasted in the UK. As good as Boudin in San Francisco
Lovely cruffin for a good price. Nice location.
This is a special place! The best stuff. Sourdough tasty chewy and crunchy and delicious. Eccles cakes my fave
We had a lovely experience today at Jacka bakery. Everything was super fresh! The wild mushrooms, tarragon & eggs was out of this world! And my bakery was heaven! I'm not so good with describing so I'll let the pics speak of themselves!Oh! And I had one of the best Mocca coffees, yet I only wish they can have semi skimmed milk! Thank
