Great restaurant and lovely warm atmosphere, just really wish they had more vegetarian options, we would eat there much more often if so.
Pricey, albeit good food, but unbearably noisy. Staff had three separate sessions of dragging heavy, classy, furniture over the stone floor just a few feet away from where we were sitting. It shouldn't be necessary to tell the staff to be quieter. That's what professional staff know in the restaurant business. It made for a less-than-pleasant experience trying to chat with a friend I'd not seen for years. We moved to a different venue in the end.Don't go here for a quiet, pleasant chat.
What a wonderful restaurant. The service was amazing. Really helpful with my dietary needs. I had the pork chop and it was amazing. The flavours really complimented each other. My friend and I were surprised with a congratulations pudding as she was getting married the following day. It was a real surprise and such a lovely gesture from the team at salumi. Im not local but on my next visit to Plymouth I will definitely be making some time to visit again with my husband.

Popped in for Sunday dinner after reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The food was great, the service was spot on and the atmosphere was really relaxing.I particularly liked how it's sectioned off into several smaller areas, keeping things quite intimate.I went at lunchtime, but plan to go back one evening as it looks like the lighting will make things really subdued and relaxing.All in all, a great little find!
