Terribly rude, condescending and derogatory owner and a place I will never revisit as a result
Oh my days, the owner is such a rude man, no wonder the shop always looks empty.
This was a pleasant surprise. Didn't think these second hand bookshops still existed. Excellent stock of books and was even more surprised to learn that the shop has 15x more books out of shop. And great service. Highly recommended.
Every year or so I think: maybe it was just a one off, maybe he was just having an off day... and every time I am reminded of just how rude the guy is here. I really hope this shop goes under and out of business as he clearly has no idea of customer service. Warning: if you enter this shop you will be one of the following if not all: shouted at, followed, spoken down to, ignored, accused of stealing etc etc. Its a shame as there are some interesting books here (massively overpriced but I guess you can't find them anywhere else on the highstreet) Leave this guy to rot away,
Great books but owner just accused of stealing his property. I purchased a book from different store after showing him the book isn't from his store he did not even apologise. HE WAS VERY RUDE and this is a shame because I wanted to purchase a big amount of fantasy books the next day. Do not recommend
