everyone was friendly here. i told them i was special needs and they treated me like a human being, unlike some other campsites in plymouth which shall remain nameless....
Beautiful views from site, we were warned via site instructions and wardens that some pitches are sloped but we always carry leveling ramps and blocks of wood. These were nowhere near enough, the wardens have a big stock of wood for you to use, so that was a bonus. The site does not have shower blocks, toilets or even an onsite club, but this makes for a very peaceful stay.Recommended for a relaxing break.
Peaceful, fabulous views. Great walks. Secure dog walking field. Short walk into the village. Good village shop and pub. Free parking in Mount Batten with excellent ferry service into Plymouth.
Beautiful view of the bay. Thoroughly enjoyable and peaceful no toilet block only minor down fall. Not much to do for children
Lovely campsite in a great location. Site overlooks Plymouth sound and you can walk down to Bovisand - road is narrow so watch out for traffic. There is a great enclosed dog walk so you can let your dog off for a run. The village of Down Thomas is a few minutes walk away. There's a village store where you can pick up essentials and there's a lovely pub, the Mussel Inn. I look forward to coming here again.
