I know I'm probably going to get a rude reply from the owner like every negative review but I couldn't leave my review as positive. I had a good haircut from this place, only second best to my home hairdresser from Bristol who has done my hair my whole life. But after a good haircut it all went downhill. I recommended this place to my partner after my haircut and he was super unsure about trying a new hairdresser due to his anxiety but he went from my recommendation. He wasn't overly happy with his haircut and so he left a mediocre review- not awful just okay- because that's how he felt with his haircut. Then I got a voicemail (yeah ME not him) about the review from the owner who was upset with the review. I then called her back and spoke to her to clear things up and she said that if the review stayed up we wouldn't be allowed back in the place! My partner, feeling anxious, changed his review but we haven't been back since and we won't be. It was completely unprofessional to call me when it wasn't even me who left the review. But even had it been me, the way of dealing with slight criticism was ridiculously unprofessional and then we released that the owner comments harshly on every slightly negative review. It baffles me how someone could own a business and have no idea how to handle criticism. It's unfortunate because the hairdressers employed are amazing but I'll never me able to get over this.
I had an amazing experience at this Salon! They fit me in last minute on Christmas Eve. Leah transformed my home bleached blonde hair and natural grey roots into a stunning silver that will have minimal upkeep but maximum wow factor. I was incredibly well looked after, made a delicious gingerbread latte and made to feel very relaxed and pampered throughout the whole lovely experience. I totally recommend this Salon and Leah.
