Recently "instructed" Nash & Co as our solicitors when buying our house. Whilst things seemed to start off fine, we experienced a lack of contact, throughout the process. Given the various stakeholders involved in the process, we did chase up Nash & Co to be told "something's going in the post for you tonight" we wasn't sure if his was coincidence, or just because we'd chased them, until this happened a further three or four times, we learned this is a result of us chasing them up, rather than being coincidence. Whilst this wasn't the end of the world, when we sent our funds through, we had to prompt twice to actually receive confirmation it was received (received a response 5 days later) - I don't think it's a big ask for the biggest investment/transfer we're ever likely to make.. I understand we're small clients in their industry but we were certainly made to feel "bottom of the pile" by Nash & Co. Myself and my partner have already said we would go elsewhere next time. The last straw was on our completion date, we were told the keys were ready to collect. In fact only one was and the vendors we were purchasing from held onto other keys for over 24hours after the date. A failure of communication between Nash & Co and other parties is evident. Luckily for us, we wasn't moving in the same day, as we would have been crippled with extra moving fees from a Removals company. Do not feel we got our monies worth from Nash & Co and not really sure what we've paid them to do!
Very pleased with service. Staff polite and helpful. The solicitor was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Elegant premises with easy parking in the grounds. I would certainly engage Nash and Co again .
