Tasty food, really good value for money! Staff were friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Perfect for a family night out. Bathrooms are upstairs, very clean, but not accessible for individuals who use wheelchairs/mobility aids. The garlic bread wasn't as aromatic as I would have liked and the dessert crust was a little thick. They did however use home made custard. The main was well prepared, with a good flavour. There were limited vegetarian/vegan options.
I haven't been there for years but my husband surprised me with a meal and my daughter and her family turned up as another surprise.The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the food.was amazing..the atmosphere was welcoming...and could've stayed there.for ages.It was as good if not better than I can remember ..and the new decor just adds to the ambiance..I have to give Lanterns five stars...and a big thank you to Demetri and the rest of the staff for looking after us all...and the cooks for such wonderfully tasty food.I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a brilliant 2019.x
Having been stationed in Plymouth in the early 90s I have been eating at lanterns for many years and have to say the place just keeps getting better!!. If you're in Plymouth I would highly recommend this place the food is outstanding and the staff are great. Well done lanterns!.
Looked after by the friendly staff from the minute we all walked into the Restaurant. Food was excellent. Peaceful atmosphere just as you want it to be. Would certainly go again
A clean, contemporary space with open kitchen. Efficient, friendly staff who helpfully made recommendations and swiftly waited tables. Excellent food and delicious desserts on display in the glass cabinet. We will be going again :)
