Great place here, and lots to see, such has this classic 125 Intercity train preparing to leave Plymouth for London Paddinton.
Is a decent train station for the amount of people travelling through. Could do with some larger waiting rooms. This station does have a shop and a cafe if you do need it. Has full wheelchair access for entrances and travel to all platforms via lifts. Nothing outstanding, just a regular train station.

This is a fairly small station.I was pleased to see that the train platforms were announced nice and early (meaning there was no huge stampede of people running to the platform all at once).There is a WHSmith (convenience store) at this station but most of the items here are over priced.There is a bus stop near the station, so you can get a bus into the city center if you want to, but this is not hugely necessary because the city centre is only about a 10-15 minute walk away.I did not meet any of the staff, so I don't know what customer service is like.
My wife and I travelled here from portsmouth. Any staff we had contact with were helpful and friendly enough. Handy with a few shops and cash machine round the corner.
