*** UPDATE: A week after I posted this review, the owner tried to intimidate me into taking it down with the threat of legal action. When I refused, he left the inaccurate response below. There has been no 'good will gesture' offered and no attempt to put the situation right. ***Very disappointed in both the quality of work and the professionalism of the management. I took my van in for an interim service and to check a slight noise in the gearbox, it came back to me driving worse than when it went in. Took it to a second garage who advised that the gear linkage cables had been replaced unecessarily (this was costly) and there was twice as much oil in there which could potentially cause damage. When I complained about the problem I listened to a range of different excuses as to what the problem might be (I've since learned that these reasons displayed lack of knowledge about the vehicle) and it was implied that they were doing me a favour by taking it back in for another look stating that they should really charge me for the extra time but in this case they'd let it go. I was shocked by the unprofessional attitude, especially since I've had very good experiences with the garage before and thought I was a valued customer. In comparison, the second garage did not charge me anything to look into the problem and correct the oil levels - they even apologised on behalf of the trade that I'd been ripped off! The upside is that I've found a more experienced and professional garage to use in the future and have learned a lot about my vehicle in the process.

Thanks for the work on my car, totally honest with the work required on my car, and informed about the price before work was carried out, the car was picked up and brought back to me which saved me having to take the car there and also collecting it. Customer services was brilliant.
I found this garage through Google. I cannot fault the customer service and quality of work that I received. The garage opened up at 06.00 for me as I start work at 06.30 morning. They replaced my clutch and returned the vehicle to my place of work when finished. Great garage highly recommend them
Had an MOT cancelled at the last minute at a different garage due to the gas analysis machine packing in so I rang up and the guys here were extremely helpful and managed to squeeze me into the last slot.Even though I have had no cause for concern or worries over my car, MOTs are always a nervy occasion for anyone, but speaking to the gents at reception and watching how they interacted with a customer before me put me at ease and I could tell I was in safe hands.And hour later I was back underway with an MOT and even got a very good quote for a clutch replacement. Will definitely use again and it is ideally located for a quick walk into town whilst you wait.Many thanks.
