My daughter has just had an appointment dentist was Lovely, however as usual the receptionist was as rude as they all seem be .My daughter said she was in full time education which she is the receptionist then said are you sure. How rude it's hard enough to get children to go to the dentist without that sort of attitude.
Charged me for repeated visits for gum infection about 150, told me I had gum disease and tooth would need removed due to a pocket in the gum behind molar, asked to see another dentist in practice who looked up my notes and said same thing but referred me to hygienist, another 40, three months for hygienist appointment, another 40 to be told not gum disease and teeth looked fine but to continue cleaning as was to keep this pocket clean. Still getting reoccurring infections and gum constantly irritated and swollen. I moved Dentist, quick check with a camera identified a crack at the rear of the molar, filling removed, crack sealed and fill replace, no more problems after 2 years of discomfort. The flexing of the molar due to the crack was causing the gum irritation. Oasis took nearly 200 in fees for a problem they neither identified nor resolved over a period of 18 months to 2years - new Dentist - two visits, 35 and all sorted.
