I would literally leave no stars for this absolute shambles of a doctors surgery. Four/five times told us our little boys lump in his throat was just an enlarged tonsil. After I finally snapped and took him to a and e when I seen him stop breathing asleep because of the size of it they began panicking straight away up the hospital and instantly got him to the HDU. It turned out to be a tumour in his throat that was beginning to block is airways. Thanks Beaumont villa and well done on another great service!!Also any adult without much history of ailments good luck actually getting an appointment at this place! You have no chance. One other point what happened to doctor/patient confidentiality......the receptionists asks you straight up whats wrong with you and Im sure she gets then to judge whether or not you get seen. Absolutely shocking system
Recently joined this practice and have been very impressed with the clinical staff. Have also found the receptionists go out of their way to be helpful, bearing in mind they are under extreme pressure and have a difficult job to do. Well done.
Think its a shame people are so quick to slate the NHS Services. Yes it took me 30 minutes to get through but thats the cost of free healthcare. Got a lovely lady on the other end of the phone who was reassuring and polite. Couldnt ask for a better experience.
For how stretched the practice and NHS in general are i have always found this surgery brilliant and the Dr's are excellent. Yes it can take a while to get through on the phones but if you are in genuine need of an appointment you will get one. Without the staff at this surgery there are people in my life that wouldn't be here now without their help and expertise. Most of the negative comments below are failings of the system in general with more and more people needing treatment and less resources to go around.
There are some bad reviews on here but I actually found this surgery to be great. Yes, sometimes I had to wait a couple of minutes to get through, on the phone, but it's a busy place and it was never that bad. The staff were always lovely and friendly. Dr Dickinson is fabulous, she is knowledgeable, patient and considerate and you never feel rushed. I have moved to a different city now and miss this GP surgery!
