Having been here any times I was amazed to be turned away for wearing sandals (for Health & Safety reasons) despite my girlfriend and girlfriends wearing similar footwear. As s result over 30 people left or didn't attempt to gain entry. Even the doorman looked surprised when l pointed out a handful of girls wearing "less safe' footwear, but 'rules is rules.'Embarrassing.
Was there last night and the place upstairs stank of stale piss!! It was disgusting! Cant believe I paid to get into your establishment to feel sick . The music was erratic also, DJ, was having an off night perhaps. Hopefully the carpets and sofa will undergo cleaning before opening again to the public. Annabels is usually a safe decent enough place to go to on a night out but its gone swiftly downhill!!!
