ive stopped using this company because twice i have been called by drivers and not the automated system, and after taking less than 60 seconds to get to the front door the driver has drove off. this has happened twice. also they are very expensive. i will use tower cabs in future. (however i must say the call centre staff are lovely)
Taxi was late, called to find out where it was and the operator had a go at me for daring to ask how long it would be. Didn't ask for a lecture on how I should have booked further in advance than half an hour, or excuses, all I asked was how long the taxi will be. Terrible experience.
So this evening I booked a taxi using their app at 12am. The app informed me it would be 17 minutes. I waited and waited...with my 7 month old baby may I add. Fast forward to over an hour later and I ring up only to be told that i coyld be waiting an additional 2 hours!! So now with a 7 month old myself and my partner had to carry him home in this freezing cold weather as we had no way of getting home, we have just this second arrived home at 2.28am. Do not use this company.
I wish 0 stars was an option.Don't give your hard earned money to these absolute clowns. We have just had a driver drive off (probably got a better offer) and despite showing him our confirmation text - and being account customers with a train to catch - he just muttered in broken English and drove off. He was also parked on a pavement and left at speed which was unnecessary and dangerous.Taxi First make an absolute joke of the taxi industry. Taxi First - you should be ashamed. Your drivers drive off as you arrive or don't turn up at all. Your control staff have the customer service skills of a ham sandwich. They don't care, they just want your MONEY. Plymouth is in desperate need of a GOOD taxi firm.
Wish I could leave no stars! Tried booking a taxi in advance over the phone and no one was answering, so like the message that plays repeatedly said, I booked via the app! The time the taxi should be there came and went so I called up. I was told that they were waiting for a taxi to drop into our area and a best guess estimate would be an additional 25 minutes. Absolutely appalling service, what's the point of having an app that will allow you to book a taxi that won't turn up! It actually ruined my birthday night out.
