The staff here were so friendly and helpful. We had to wait a little while but this was because someone was late bringing back a car. They did offer us a larger car for a free upgrade but we wanted to stick to a smaller one. We were running late on the way back and they kindly dropped us off at the train station so we didn't miss our train which was really appreciated! It was great value, no extra charges and the car was as described and in good condition.

Yet another rental company who hold a deposit against the vehicle of a considerable amount (In this case 250, not the 750 of thrifty) and hold it for anything up to 5 working days! No need for the deposit really, when you consider that I booked full collision damage waiver. However, if you consider that they make thousands of bookins a day as a company, there must be a nice little high interest account somewhere that is earning them fat cash at their customers expense. Wake up rental companies. You are becoming dinosaurs.

I'd like to be able to review renting a vehicle from them but unfortunately due to bad communication and service we weren't even able to get that far, which we only discovered at the time of pick up! I understand they have to do things by the book, but having been told on the phone that the driving license address not matching the payment card address is fine and nothing about it stopping a rental, it was a bit stressful that on the day we come to collect we're told we can't. Things started off friendly as the guy in the shop tried to help us find another way but as we try to explore every option the service really deteriorated and we seem like a nuisance to them. Trying to obtain a van that all seemed fine until last minute on the day we need to move house is more stressful for us than the impatient employees! Went to lipson rental instead and got friendly service and a bigger van for the same price
