After several months of hospital admittance, homecare, due to severe chronic pain, difficulties in mobility, incontintence, sleep deprivation, amongst other issues. I have struggled to get pain relief, diagnosiss, correct care. I handed in repeat requests to be told I hadnt, told to wait another 72hrs for my medication, told I had to come in with another request, and refused to have a dr call back even though it was the surgery that had misplaced my repeat request, by this point I had no pain relief left, no help offered by surgery, which resulted in an ambulance taking me into hospital to try manage the pain. Its almost impossible to get appointments, and even though theyre well aware that Im housebound, they still refused call outs. They lack understanding and empathy massively! I have been misprescribed medications even though I voiced strongly I am prone to having adverse reactions due to medical chemical sensitivity.. put on medications that then led to heavy rectum bleeding, and abdominal cramping, still, they then left me a week before putting me on something else. I finally get diagnosed 4 months later after being pushed from pilar to post, between derriford, Cumberland centre, district nurses to still not be given strong enough pain relief to be able to manage even day to day activities, eat, sleep, or move, the pain is so severe and all the things that are available they refuse to give and expect me to suffer and cope. Absolutely disgusting, the whole idea of healthcare professionals is to help and ease pain for their patients. The receptionist staff are rude and just as unsympathetic as the doctors, the whole surgery is diabolical. Medical negligence at its finest. Strongly advise finding another surgery even if it means travelling further to be looked after correctly. Never in my life have I ever experienced such poor care.

Absolutely bloody useless! I wanted to know who could change my contraception, i asked 2 different doctors. Finally talked to a nurse who told me i need a phone appointment with a nurse who only worked thursdays. I agreed to accept a call even though I'd be at work. I waited all day, i phoned just before close to be told she doesn't work thursdays. I asked for her to phone me monday after 1.30. I got a call this morning at 8.30 and that i wont be talking to this nurse recommended because they dont know who she is. This lot are an absolute bunch of clowns. I'm actually worried about having my contraception changed by them in case its not changed correctly. If you can register somewhere else, do it. Even if it means a short travel!

I'm a carer. My client has serious physical and mental disability and is in poor health. You cannot even get through on the phone. The answermachine tells you to ring 101 then cuts off. Her medication needs reviewing and she has become incontinent as a result. Shameful service.

Worst surgery I have ever come. Allways when I try see gp or midwife, answer is one "we don't have enough appointments" or "nobody is here" really???? Staff on reception is very rude and not helpful special for foreigners. I'm very disappointed...

I have been with St Levan surgery for quite a few years and they are without doubt the best surgery I have ever had and I've been to a lot of different surgerys over the years. The doctors are all kind friendly and knowledgeable they really take the time to listen and tailor your care. My health has improved vastly under their supervision. The nurses are wonderful and the locombes are always great too. The receptionists are lovely and helpful too. It's always so easy to get a appointment. There's also a very friendly pharmacy next door which is very convenient. I would really like to thank the staff of st Levan surgery for taking care of me and my family.
