It costs more to attend PPG than your average gym, but in exchange you get personalised training as only very small groups are allowed to train at any one time. The equipment is well maintained and the trainers are knowledgeable and motivating. I have a number of health problems which make training difficult, and the trainers have been excellent at taking these into account and working me hard without pushing me too far.
The guys here are really knowledgeable. At present working with me on a rehab programme after surgery. Friendly encouraging and motivational I love it here.
The coaches are second to none! If you want to start taking you fitness seriously or improve in a specific sport this place is your best option, the atmosphere is friendly but focused because the gym is always full of driven people! Excellent facilities, well maintained and easy to park outside. Cannot recommend it enough; Just be prepared to never be satisfied with any other gym afterwards!
Great place. Heard a lot of noise from the training room. Wondered what I'd let myself in for. Some serious lifters in there. Very friendly though. Great training environment. Will go back as much as I can, when I'm in town.
I've been to a bunch of different gyms in Plymouth and I can honestly say this is the best one I've been to. The equipment available is of a very high standard, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and the members are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a new gym, or is serious about achieving their fitness goals to check this place out.
