Not the worst palce I've stayed in, hence the generous 2 stars. But very basic. There was a small blood stain on one of the pillows. Not really any excuse for someone elses visible DNA to be left for me, but I let it pass at the time as with human error, these things happen. But then the shower was rubbish. Very weak flow, not enough to comfortably have a shower. Then the food. It's actually cheaper to just go to the pub on site and buy your own breakfast than book it through the hotel. Finally, the deal breaker, the wifi. For 6 a night, you get 2 devices. Trouble is, because of the sign-up portal, its not doable on an Amazon Fire Stick. So you have to use another device register which consumes a licence. So we couldn't watch any films, but not that we would have been able to anyway, as it has to be the slowest wifi I have ever used in the last 10 years. It ran at about 1 to 2 mb/s. I might be spoilt with my fast connection at home, but really, if you are going on a business trip and need to work, forget it. Even for browsing Facebook it was really slow and rubbish.I am seeking a partial refund for me stay, put it that way....

A most enjoyable stay room was clean and spacious, however I wish the pillows were softer

Only stayed the one night but was very clean and comfortable. Only moan I have is that there are no power sockets next to bed, I like to charge my phone and keep it on the bedside table but couldn't. Apart from that, it was great. Perfect location to explore Plymouth.

Very clean and tidy, typical modern Travelodge, however room was so poorly lit it was like a cave. Couldn't open the curtains to improve light as queuing traffic (buses) could look straight into the room. Needed good old fashioned net curtains.

As with any Travelodge this isn't luxurious but it was clean with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed for a low cost one night stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and there was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee including decaffeinated. We didn't have breakfast because having experienced Travelodge breakfast in other hotels the thought of cornflakes with warm long life milk and a warm bottle of orange juice was not something we wanted. There is a Toby Inn next door offering a good carvery at reasonable cost.If you are looking for a low cost comfortable stopover I would definitely recommend this Travelodge.
