Currently staying here with my husband and two dogs..really lovely place and really lovely people..food is harty..perfect location..dog friendly in the pub and free dig treats at the bar..would recommend to anyone..
Really good beers on selection. Accommodation would recommend room 1, small bathroom, huge bed with space. Very good value.
Went to this place on the off chance as we were on the Hoe and wanted a roast dinner. We weren't disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely. Just like homemade and really large portions. Choice of 3 meats or all three, plus potatoes, mashed carrots, cabbage, parsnips, yorkshire puds (with all meat options) and homemade gravy. Will definitely go again next time in Plymouth.
Stayed here only for the one night after travelling a long way. Wasnt expecting much but was greeted with a very lovely woman at the bar, who showed me to my room. Would stay again and highly recommend visiting.
Great little pub with a good selection of drinks. Not a huge amount of seating in the main bar area but some additional seats downstairs. Food menu has typical pub classics - they were offering takeaway for fireworks night which was a great idea.
